The International Paralympic Committee has delegated the organisation of the IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships to the Ski Club Sport X All Hans Erlacher Team. It will be the first time the event takes place in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The great job done in the previous season, during the 2015 European Cup in Sella Nevea and the 2016 World Cup in Tarvisio, was crucial for the award. The World Championship Tarvisio 2017 will see more than 300 athletes from over 30 nations, together with their escorts, teams, other professionals and press and media officers.
